ABSTRACT:
This work discusses the contribution
of private media to the sustenance of democracy in Nigeria(a study of AIT)investigate.
A hundred and twenty questionnaires were shared amongst news agents and
journalists of AIT. Interviews and surveys were also conducted.
Primary and secondary data were used
the analysis. Both frequency distribution and regression analysis were used.
It was observed therefore that the
private media has a significant positive contribution to the sustenance of
democracy in Nigeria.. Also, there is a strong and positive relationship
between the private media and the sustenance of democracy in Nigeria.
